As A Man Thinketh...

This title felt appropriate since it is the title of one of my favorite motivational books... and I am a man! Oops - now my wife has joined but the title of the book is not "As a couple thinketh" - So I guess I will leave it alone for now!

The Thought Factor In Achievement

All that a man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thoughts. In a justly ordered universe, where loss of equipoise would mean total destruction, individual responsibility must be absolute. A man's weakness and strength, purity and impurity, are his own, and not another man's; they are brought about by himself, never by another. His condition is also his own, and not another man's. His suffering and his happiness are evolved from within. As he thinks, so he is; as he continues to think, so he remains.

Welcome to my blog... or something like that!

I can't believe I finally succumed to the peer pressure to post a blog. I really have very little time to do this so I do not know how often it will be updated. So, why did I do it?

1. I travel, a lot. this is probably a great way to keep my
family and friends apprised of what is going on. I will post
random thoughts, pictures, anecdotes etc. here.
2. I am a horrible journal writer so this will act as my 'record'
3. Sometimes even guys need to vent.. no I am not gay.
4. I checked out some of our friends' blogs and kind of
enjoyed seeing what they are doing with their lives and
families - maybe someone will enjoy mine.
5. There are worse places to go on the internet.

So, all of that being said please enjoy it and hopefully it will make a difference in your day somehow.
